Today's operators standard kit issue includes the Combat Handgun & Assault Carbine. The Tactical Firearms course teaches you how these two weapons can be used effectively in all distances, operational environments and contact situation. The intensive course structure starts with the basic skills modules which will teach safe weapon handling skills then quickly moves onto the tactical phase which covers all Immediate Action drills using both long and short weapons. The main focus of this course concentrates on the dangerous point of the initial contact, to its safe resolution, using speed, instinctive accuracy, effective immediate Actions drills and withdrawing to safety.
